Retired physician Peter E. Droubay, MD, started his career in the mid-1970s after earning a medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completing an internship at San Francisco General Hospital. He then served as a resident at Los Angeles' Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital, where he later worked as an urgent care provider. Peter E. Droubay, MD, also earned a postgraduate degree in public health nutrition and completed a nutrition fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center.
Over the course of a career spanning more than four decades, Dr. Droubay oversaw an internal medicine practice in Davis, California, for over 25 years. During the same time, he served as an internal medicine consultant at the Cowell Student Health Center at UC Davis. His more recent roles include serving as an internal medicine provider for Sutter West Medical Group and a hospitalist at Sutter Davis Hospital. Leading up to his retirement, Dr. Droubay served as a skilled nursing provider at several facilities in the Davis area.
As a retiree, Peter E. Droubay, MD, pursues various hobbies and interests, such as studying Greek translations of the Old and New Testaments. He also works to stay fit through a number of fitness activities and follows a whole-food, plant-based diet.
